Careers that work with exotic animals?
Ive loved animals since I was three and my parents would bring me to zoos almost every month since I loved seeing them. I wanted to do a career that involves animals and that is a hands on job. I was keen on becoming a vet for a long time but talking with the university and seeing it would cost $50,000 a year for 8 years or so to learn to become one, that dream kind of faded. Besides, dogs and cats are nice but I really wanted to work with exotic animals such as big cats, giraffes, other hoofed animals ect. I have researched alot and know that careers with animals (let alone vet surgeons) don't make a very good income. So is there any jobs that work with these type of creatures and have a livable income? I want to do something I love but I don't want to be just getting by. I am excellent in science, biology, physics ect. and are interested in all of it and plan on taking AP classes in those along with math. I am a freshman in high school but want to get an idea to start building the path I need to go on. So basically, any ideas of what I could do? that also won't break the bank with college and the education needed. I don't mind going for 8 years, I just don't want to be living on the street cause I got no money haha.

How can people sell exotic animals online?
Doing a project for school on pet trade and endangered animals. I have found several websites that sell or allow hunting of endangered animals. But I cant figure out or find why these websites haven't been shut down. Anyone have any idea about it or know where I can find some info on why its not stopped online...? THANKS!!

I've heard about animal trafficking and poaching where they sell live animals, parts, etc... to the highest bidder or on the black market.
In a story idea of mine, an African Lion cub loses his parents and the rest of his pride to poachers who sells them to a zoo. Shortly after, he's adopted by a Cheetah and raised with her two cubs.
Besides, selling exotic animals and animal parts what other things have been traced back to animal trafficking and poaching?
