2010 World Series Game 3: Giants 2, Rangers 4

World Series Game 2 As the 2010 World Series moved to Arlington for the first time, home field continued to be helpful as the Texas Rangers won the first World Series game ever played in Arlington.

Rangers' starter Colby Lewis allowed only two runs in seven and two-thirds innings of work. Lewis allowed five hits and two walks while striking out six Giants. Neftali Feliz earned his first save of the 2010 World Series, pitching a hitless ninth inning.

The Rangers' offense was led by Elvis Andrus and Michael Young, who each delivered two hits for Texas. First baseman Mitch Moreland hit a three-run homer in the second inning.

Giants' starter Jonathan Sanchez allowed four runs on six hits and three walks in four and two-thirds innings.

The Rangers' victory was only their third playoff win at home this postseason. The home team has won the first three games of the 2010 World Series.

World series game 2 pitcher controversy?
I am curious to see what the general opinion is on the pine tar contorversy with the Detroit pitcher from game two of the world series. Do you think this is what it was on his hand and was the appropriate action taken? Would you say that he really cheated? Did Tony LaRussa make the right call by not loudly objecting to the player being left in the game? Many are saying that this will honestly make it a fair series by leaving him in. What are your thoughts?
